APW - E. Howard & Co, Boston, Series X, 15J, horse grade, J-S (just under 12S), 14K gold OF original E.H. & Co. case by Roy, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, umbrella style hands, SW-SS, ornate nickel damascene, s#501152. Gross weight of assembled watch 56.0 dwt (87.1 g). An excellent example throughout, highlighted by a particularly beautiful movement damascene.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous surfaces, very few small micro-fine scratches; dial with hls at 5 and 10, minuscule flakes to left rim of seconds-register hole, small abrasion at lower-left perimeter of seconds-register; excellent hands; case shows little wear, no dents or dings, front hinge missing an end-cap; bow pivots semi-freely, crown shows medium wear with ridge break; glass crystal with some scattered small scratches.
